Since 2011, the Palm Beach County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller, Joseph Abruzzo has celebrated Valentine’s Day by offering up to 40 lucky couples the opportunity to be married in a group wedding.
The group weddings were initially held at the National Croquet Center in West Palm Beach. This year, for the second time, Clerk Abruzzo invited couples to register for a free group Valentine’s Day wedding in the beautifully restored 1916 Palm Beach County Courthouse in downtown West Palm Beach, Florida.
On February 14, 2924 at 11 a.m., ten couples said, “I do!” during one ceremony officiated by Clerk Abruzzo. “What a privilege to be part of such a joyous occasion,” Abruzzo said. “Our annual Valentine’s Day ceremony provides couples with a unique opportunity to get married in a beautiful, historic space on the most romantic day of the year.”
Although the ceremony was free, couples paid for their marriage license. The couples received a complimentary digital photo from All For One Creations Photography. A complimentary rose and boutonniere from Heaven & Earth Floral were given to each couple. Heaven & Earth also donated floral arrangements for the event.
